Welcome Baby James! | A Laid-Back, Joyful Birth Story with The Little Milk Bar

I’ve had the honor of photographing a lot of births, but baby James’ arrival was one of the most chill experiences ever! This session was extra special because it was part of a collaboration with The Little Milk Bar, and I couldn’t have asked for a better family to document.

I spent a few hours hanging out with Angelina and her husband at the hospital while she finished laboring. Angelina, covered in tattoos, was the most relaxed mom I’ve ever seen—totally calm and in control. We were all laughing and chatting like it was just a normal afternoon, not the middle of labor! Her husband, also decked out in tattoos, was right by her side, cracking jokes and keeping the mood light. Since this wasn’t their first rodeo (they have a 13-year-old), they knew exactly how to roll with it.

When it came time to push, Angelina was a total rockstar. Just ten minutes, and baby James was born! He came out healthy and happy, with a head full of the cutest hair. The whole birth was smooth, joyful, and filled with love.

Thanks to The Little Milk Bar, this experience was even more meaningful. I’m so grateful I could be a part of such a special moment, and photographing those first precious minutes of James’ life was an honor. I can already tell this little guy is going to have one awesome life with such cool parents. Welcome to the world, baby James!
